Robin - This is a NO!
finally, done with my mid-terms .. though, it's only two weeks now before the finals but I already feel that we (poor students) should talk sometime to breath. The only thing that doesn't make me go crazy is that it's the final year and then I'm FREEEEEEEEE!

I'm officially dead *thud* the man is 44 and doesn't even look like an old guy .. *sigh*
love him so much .. he's my #1 actor in the whole world .. no competition except with Richard Armitage LOL!

just look at those dark, fierce yet passionate eyes.. I love his eyes the most!

his latest film "3 Idiots" proved to be a blockbuster in India, America and world wide in the history of Indian Cinema .. that's overwhelming .. it's unstoppable success as someone put it! the guy is simply a genius when it comes to acting and choosing movies.. he's THE ONE who brought sense for Bollywood after his Oscar Nominated film Lagaan which is without a doubt a masterpiece of the 21st century..

Now off to my other fav.,I re-watched "Red Scare" last night and it triggered some thoughts

some passing thoughts .... Jane's past, his relationship with Lisbon if ......... )

relaxation
too long to post, was busy with my exams and was sick (still I'm but better *_*)

I'm impressed with myself, I'm actually missing the Bollywood movies..
after a long period of unimpressive movies and failing cinematic years!
and now I'm catching up with what I missed I started longing for them so much!
esp. the well-made/well-written ones.. as this movie

The story is about a guy who has no goals in his life and lives a very messy life the way it is with guys all over the world. The theme of this story is very boring in its core as I have seen so many movies with plots like this, and I have to say I'm not so much of a youth-themed cliche but what drawn me to this is the main cast (the hero and heroine) as they are my most fav. Indian actors & I knew they won't disappoint me..

back to the plot, this lazy guy (Sid) meets this hard-working girl (Aisha) who just moved to Mumbai to build her career and own her living. They become friends but actually Sid is more smitten with her. Along the film, the two of them go through different circumstances that force them to change. Sid needs to settle the issues between him and his family and Aisha needs to prove herself in her career. At the end, everything is back to its best.

My opinion, it was a breath-taking journey. 'coz there was a down-to-earth touch to it and it's spoke very well for the youth of that region and it's just makes you witness their life not as an audience but as a person watching from a close distance. it's very heart-warming and very fresh 'coz its main focus is the young generation and their relationships (friendships, love, struggle to prove their identities, mother/son relationship, father/son relationship). And on the plus side, the romance is moving very smoothly and almost subtle compared to the storyline which I find SO fascinating in Bollywood movies (as they usually tend to make Romance the main issue)

Overall, loved EVERY part of it. In fact I feel the urge to watch it again as there was SO many moments I fell in love with and want them to stick in my head. Acting was superb, background music was very beautifully placed, dialogues are SO great.. and direction was PERFECT!

a must watch for Bollywood Fans

take care,
Jane/Lisbon - my queen
I'm IN LOVE with this episode.. it has all the awesome moments with Jane/Lisbon ..

it's been along while since I watched a sensible Hollywood movie.. so long that I can't remember the last time I enjoyed one tbh.
Thought that Hollywood now is like a dead corpse.. nothing comes out but in a bad shape & form.. hmm ( okay that was an
exaggeration but partially true) anyways, I'm a junior Meryl Streep fan but a very big Amy Adams fan .. so decided that this
movie is a MUST watch!

the outcome is: a marvelous hour passed relatively in laughter and desperation .. glad that I ate something before watching 'coz
they made the most delicious recipes (I still want to make that chocolate cake *yummy*) .. made me drool a bit! but it was a great watch..
enjoyed it and highly recommend it for anyone who haven't seen it yet!

Bon Appetite ^_^

along time since I watched this amount of episodes in 2 days but still very
engaging esp. when the episodes are SO great.. makes your day even better (the
way it is with TV addicts anyway *grins*)

the TV shows I watch brought so much entertainment this week that I had to
make a small review here about each of them..

When I was a teenager I was an addict for TV cop shows esp. that most of them were Aussie dramas
and other were either British (Sherlock Holmes and the likes) or American which are not that much..

now I look back at them and I remember 2 shows that I was obsessed about as I'm now of The Mentalist
Those 2 are: Water Rats (famous Aussie cop show) & LA Heat (American cop show)
